Grow up in Windsor Ontario Canada and you grow up in Detroit Rock City. With just a mile of water separating the two cities, the influences run deep. Lodown was born from this sound and it has become the backbone of this groundbreaking band.
After opening tour spots with Iron Maiden, Mastodon, Megadeth and Foo Fighters Lodown has seen there fanbase grow considerably. Lockjaw/ MSK records UK took notice in 2008 and immediately released the Black Horse album in late 2008. The album has generated a lot of interest in the UK and the band has been featured on major radio stations and in print across europe.
Lodown are currently writing the new album which will be recorded in California in spring of 2009. Practice space fires, surgeries and all out bad luck cannot stop the rock.
Expect a heavier faster sound for 2009.

Rock and Roll has a new name. It's Darryl Wintermere. It's not as impressive as Rock and Roll, but after the paternity suits, infringements, drug allegations, Rock and Roll decided that something a little less assuming would deflect the heat. That being said, we should Darryl Wintermere together sometime in the Fall.
