Ron Smith, aka Cuzn Wildweed and all his Mojo, my Great-Uncle, pulp fiction writer Norvell Page, my dad relentlessly playing the Highwaymen throughout my childhood, Bob Dylan, Robert Hunter, the amazing artists I've written about and in a few cases been lucky enough to get to know, perhaps most of all Mike Seeger, may he R.I.P. and his spirit carry on. He and his family are among the few people in history who have preserved and appreciated the music, stories and history of the people of Appalachia in a way that would be, above all, taken seriously.

Green stars, purple hearts and blue diamonds...curses, I've been duped by MySpace overlord Tom into revealing my musical lucky charms. The truth is, a leprechaun recorded most of this stuff, I'm just her cover. She won't give up the gold though, forcing me to remain a starving artist while she profits from my image. She says says that's what we did to her Dad, (you got it, the Lucky Charms guy), and this is just the beginning of the Elfin takeover of the world.
Where's my sweet thing that used to leave me sweet comments all the time? Is the MySpace honeymoon over? *grin* That's alright, your real life ones are lots better anyways! hahaha
