Friday September 21st - Traditions Night (By invitation only), 7:00 pm, Sigma Pi house
The Sigma Pi house is located at 4121 E. 4th Street. From CSULB, take Bellflower to 7th, make a right, 7th to Ximeno, make a left, 7th to 4th, make a right, and the house will be on your right hand side. | | Heroes | John J. Merino - He is the "Godfather of Sigma Pi" Not only is he our Chapter Director here at Long Beach State, he was a member of our chapter's first pledge class. Mr. Merino ascended the ranks of Sigma Pi to even become the Grand Sage of Sigma Pi Fraternity International.

About me:

Sigma Pi was founded in 1897 at Vincennes University in Vincennes, Indiana and came to Long Beach State in 1955. Over the past 52 years, we have proved to be one of the top organizations on campus. Out of the 7 nationally recognized fraternities at CSULB, Sigma Pi has been on campus the longest and is the biggest fraternity, with 84 active members. This past year, we initiated 45 new members and plan to have a chapter of over 100 men after fall 2007 rush. We have just concluded a very successful year, winning the IFC basketball championship and Alpha Phi's "Mr. Heartthrob" philanthropy event to name a few of our accomplishments. We are excited for another very successful year. Thank you for taking interest in our fraternity.
