Long Time Dead have recently burst onto the music scene with raw energy, attitude coupled with anthemic song writing. The band formed & were looking for a singer to complete the line up. The line up was completed at a after gig party when a drunken Mart began playing guitar under a pool table and Em began singing, and that was that. Fast forward just three weeks and the band hit the studio, & recorded the Fade Away Sessions. but even before a demo appeared word had already got around, and a large loyal fanbase, seemed to appear almost immediatley, before any recording was aired. Armed with a brand new EP, Long Time Dead are looking to recapture the raw power of british rock, displayed by bands such as "The who" and bring british rock back to its rightfull place at the top of the tree, led by the gritty vocal talent of Em coupled with the seering guitar sound of Merylina Hamilton (one of the most talented female guitarist around). This is a band to keep your eye on. The rythem section alone could bring down a house. Long Time Dead are the new guys on the scene, looking to re-invigorate a stagnant music scene, and are currently on a roll!!!

Sorry for the late reply. Had loads of problems with the internet recently. Anyway we're trying out a part time drummer until Robbie gets back from Africa (he's there over the summer as part of his uni course) and have a gig next Monday in a venue we've never played before! How are things with you? Keep jammin' Simon
Thanks for adding the A Moment's Worth Street Team page to your friends!! Be sure to go to the band site at www. myspace. com/amw and drop a line to the guys!!

Thanks for the add too. You gals and guys have have a refreshing unique sound. Vocals sound like Janis Joplin to me, which is sweet. I like your song Bruised, and Scars. I think these two songs could give you your own identity. Thanks again, Splendid Oblivion.

First ever official Remnants of Tranquility release today 30.6.08!! Our song 'Traces' part of the Matchbox Recordings compilation CD 'Stay in the Box vol.3'
As reviewed by journalist Dave Chislett "Don’t be fooled by the moniker, acoustic band here! This is intense and dark stuff. Combining the best of dirge-like Alice in Chains inspiration with some menacing acoustic guitar, this is impressive and interesting stuff".
