Músico profissional desde 1995, quando foi convidado a integrar a banda Dr. Mabuse, em 1997 participou da fundação da banda Pacú Atômico, em 1999 entrou para a banda Strauss, em 2002 fundou a banda Nação e em 2004 partiu para o seu projeto solo, Lopes. Em 2008 saíu o 1º cd, Lopes, contendo 12 faixas, lançado no Riff Rock Fest, com a preseça da banda norte-americana Black Oil.
