I also have an art gallery at the deviantArt website: http://pyroglyph.deviantart.com/
And I've got two CD's: Quest and Waterline
The music can also be gotten online, at iTunes: iTunes:Quest

As for a description of me, well.........

Myself? Erm... my worst subject. I never know what to say. 32. Geek, and proud of it. No kids. One cat. Soceity for Creative Anachronism member since I was 16. When I lived in SoCal I used to go to Comic Con just about every year, it was a blast. Most of my friends are either SCA or gaming geeks or both...

Reading is probably my favorite pastime, fantasy/sci-fi being the primary genre. Video games are fun, though I get bored pretty easily with them these days unless they're especially innovative. Used to use PCs, but now I love my Mac [does the "no more blue screen of death" dance]. I've been a security guard, a prep cook, a general clerical/data entry bum, a graphic designer, an art student, a truck loader... now I'm working on several creative projects which I may eventually get paid for, which translates to unemployed slacker for those of you who work for The Man.

My philosophical/religious beliefs are in a state of suspension, an amorphous mass of maybe and maybe not. I swing back and forth between animism/pagan and hardcore atheist, and I don't know which I even WANT to come out on top. .. I was raised by pacifist turn-the-other-cheek Christians, who's whole lives are dedicated to and involved in their god... so I'm fascinated by theology while at the same time easily irritated by folks who want to tell me "the TRUTH" and what I should believe and how I should act.

The things I DO believe in, I'm pretty hard core about. Truth is a big one. I won't brag that I've never lied... that would be a lie. [lol] But the number of times has been few, and it always makes me feel like I've swallowed sewage. I hate doing it, I suck at it, and I try to make it a policy these days not to rack up any more things I regret. I don't have much patience for being lied to, either. So truth. Yeah. And honor. Doing what you say you're going to do, being trustworthy. If I can't say I've got a perfect record, I can say that it is a goal, now more than ever.

Who I'd like to meet:

Your Aura is Violet
Idealistic and thoughtful, you have the mind and ideas to change the world. And you have the charisma of a great leader, even if you don't always use it! The purpose of your life: saying truths that other people dare not say.
Famous purples include: Mahatma Gandhi, Martin Luther King, Jr., Susan B. Anthony. Careers for you to try: Political Activist, Inventor, Life Coach ..

I thought it was cute, in a weird way that only you might appreciate. Things are going ok. I'm still waiting to hear what will become of my job situation. I'm thinking nothing at this point what with the lots of talk and lack of action. Melissa's hole is closing well and quickly. It's been like a science expiriment for us. They're re-roofing the apartments and because of the construction vehicles, I had to park on the other side of the moon tonight, but all in all, things are pretty good.

You've been quite prolific in your myspacing lately. How's life in SoCal? Melissa had to have emergency gallbladder surgery last Friday. When they did it, they found her right ovary is about 4x normal size. Last sunday she went to remove her bandages and shower as instructed, and we found an open gaping hole, about the size of a quarter in her stomach, that hadn't been sown shut. We took her back to the emergency room and later she visited her doctor, and we found out she already had an infection, and it's too risky to sew her shut, so she's having to wash it with saline daily and I have to apply special bandaging. To top it off she ran out her sick & PTO time Wed, so Thurs & Friday she didn't get paid, but couldn't work because the infection is still making her feverish. Times have been a little trying. I'm up for a new job though and have a good chance of getting a pretty good raise. Keep us in your thoughts.
