  • Bio

Lorynn The Redhead, originally from Orlando, FL, calls herself the angst-ridden folk singer - and rightfully so. Her songs are a mixture of heartache and relationship angst, but she's been known to surprise her audiences with a few love ballads here and there. She's been writing and performing since age 13, taking the stage as a one woman band at festivals, singer-songwriter showcases and local venues. She most recently played at Fair Park's 4th of July Booms & Blooms, a Breast Cancer Benefit for Baylor Hospital, Deep Ellum Arts Festival and the Bishop Arts Crawl II. She's also played local gigs at The Bone, Dunn Bros Coffee Shop, and It's a Grind, among other venues in the DFW area. In Florida she played at House of Blues, Borders, Lost and Found and Nsync's Challenge for the Children in Miami as well as local coffee shops and arts festivals. ........ ........

I dig all music. (Well, almost all music...) Nelly Furtado, Tori Amos, Jewel, Alanis, Dido, The Donnas, Ani Difranco.. the typical chick music.. And Butch Walker, Green Day, AFI, the Beatles, James Blunt, The Doors, everyone on the entire Garden State soundtrack.. and I own an Ashlee Simpson CD. Please don't hurt me. I also love live shows.
