Los Lonely Boys (Henry, Ringo, and Jojo Garza) announce the upcoming release of 1969, an EP of covers that pays tribute to one of America’s most musically hailed years.
Five years after crossing into the mainstream with the GRAMMY winning single “Heaven,” the brothers take this opportunity to invoke the sound of a generation that walked the moon and transcended Woodstock. They lend praise to songs that provided a soundtrack for so many and inspired their own multi-platinum success. With their signature blend of Latin rhythms, searing guitar leads and impeccable harmonies, the band takes the opportunity to trace their musical lineage through the following tracks: Carlos Santana’s “Evil Ways,” The Beatles’ “She Came In Through the Bathroom Window,” Tony Joe White’s “Polk Salad Annie,” and The Doors’ “Roadhouse Blues.”
Legendary engineer Andy Johns provides his signature, timeless sound to 1969. In addition to recording Blind Faith’s “Well All Right” – also a featured track on the EP – Johns is well known for his work on Led Zeppelin II, III, IV and The Rolling Stones’ Exile on Main St.
Close friend Carlos Santana once told the brothers "When you're up on that stage or when you record, you want to be the tool that shines light through to everybody."
Los Lonely Boys always took his message to heart and more so now than ever with their spirited renditions of these classic tracks that they hope will appeal to their current audiences as well as attract new ones that appreciate this generation of music.
Hey guys, Im so sad cuz last nite I was in line to go inside the Jimmy Kimmle Show unfortunatly they didnt let me in nor the other people that had tickets to go in. I feel it was very unfair that the show was still giving out tickets instead of just putting out certain amount of tickets to see the show. I dunno but there was alot of us in the back part of the building waiting for excited to see you guys preform but they didnt even at least see you guys play. Its just very UNFAIR!!!!!!!!!! Alot of people came from very far to see you guys, like this lady came from Riverside county that is about 2 hours away and some girls came from Winsconin to see you guys and none of us got in. I dunno but Im very sad and disappointed. Some of us even waited outside the front part of the building to at least hear you guys sing but the security guards kicked us out of the steps. =(

Saw your show at the Old Town School of Folk Music on October 23rd- you guys rocked (as usual!) What a great place to see you (where I go for guitar class.) Your show was much more intimate, comedic, and personal at that small venue. Got to shake your hands, too! I love your new EP, by the way! Keep rockin'!
It was such a treat to go see you guys do two shows in one night! We had such a great time and thanks for the other drumstick Ringo. By the way I enjoyed watching your kids enjoy themselves too they were so cute.
YOUR BAND IS BY FAR ONE OF THE BEST I HAVE HEARD YET, AND ALL I DO IS LISTEN TO MUSIC FOR MOST OF THE TIME. I ADD GREAT BANDS , NOT MY KIND OF MUSIC BANDS BUT EVERYBODY IS ADDED FOR PEOPLE TO HEAR!!!
