Lost Gravity is the main music project of Brazilian guitarist Breno. Formed in London (England) in summer ’07, Lost Gravity started out playing original rock/metal with a touch of grunge in a predominantly indie London scene.
In January ’08, Lost Gravity recorded their first EP Anywhere But Home. Reviewed “4 tracks, 5 stars” the EP is now available on demand from LastFm. During that year the band played all over the London circuit of pubs and clubs.
In early ’09, Lost Gravity wrote many new songs and continued playing the London circuit. Due to demand, the band also started playing outside London for the first time, receiving very positive feedback from gig goers and promoters.
In December ’09 the band released their second EP entitled Selfish. Four tracks of outstanding guitar riffs, great melodies, heavy bass lines and a solid drumbeat can be found on Selfish. The EP is now available from iTunes, Amazon, Napster and other good online retailers. A physical CD version, featuring a painting from German artist Otto Dix on the front cover, and including a bonus track, was also released and can be bought directly from the band at gigs or via the paypal link above.
During the first half of '10, Lost Gravity played many gigs in and around London promoting their second EP, Selfish, which was very well received by rock/metal fans. In May’10 the band reached number 1 in the charts of Sound Awesome FM with their song Selfish, and has been featured on many Radio Stations around the world.
Plans for '11 include Lost Gravity recording their first full album, writing new material, planned tours of Europe and the USA, as well as continuing to play high profile gigs around the UK. I'm still hoping to be in California in October, I'm working on your "Piece", not just a review, bigger and am adding video and all..got me hooked! I'd love to get the interview right with it!! Cannot wait to "talk"! I may be there towards the end of the year though, I have to be home by April, my sister is having a baby!!!
