Sounds Like
Modern Blues, funk, and rock....and alot of jamming
This is a trio of musicians based in blues ,
funk , jazz , and rock. Having known each other
personally for up to a decade , the trio has formed a
sound like no other combining the traditional simplicity
of the the blues with the dynamic jamming aspect of group
improvisation.Infulences of this project include a wide range
of musicians such as :
> Jimi Hendrix
>Phish
>Buddy Guy
>Bootsy Collins
>Tinsley Ellis
Along with this surge of modern blues - influenced artists ,
lower case blues also has it's roots in the traditional
aspects of these pioneers of the blues and jazz genres :
>Muddy Waters
>Jaco Pastorious Trio
>Junior Wells
>Miles Davis
>Albert Collins
Lower Case Blues first made an impact on the Delaware music scene at Jimmy Bones's open mike night at The Lighthouse in Lewes, De.
After playing a set , the future of the groups success began with
bookings at the resort town's off-season live music venues such as Sydney's
and Arenea's.After gathering a strong local folllowing , the band has since
moved to the Delaware beach area and have become full-time musicians.
Since then , lower case has opened for such acts as: >Buddy Guy
>Kenny Wayne Sheperd
>.38 Special
>John Corbett
>Dierks Bently
"lcb" has obtained an exceptional amount of notoriorty through featured recordings and live performances with nationally renownded artist Johnny Neel (Allman Bros. , Gov't Mule, Willie Nelson). These sessions continue as of the date of this publication.
This group has been working steady for 4 years toward expanding to the greater portions of the East Coast and beyond. With a sound that has not yet been explored and an undying passion for musianship and unparalelled relationship with a receptive crowd , this is an unstopable force that needs to spread the word of music that matters.

hey hey! I don't know if u guys know, but I moved out to Washington, I miss the live music at the beach! At least I have a few of your demos and my new friends out here love your music! I think that calls for a road trip so I can see you play. Sending some good Washington love, and best wishes.
Hey guys, how are y'all doin'? I really enjoyd seeing you again ( Aug, 2 at the Frogg Pond ) As usual, you kicked ass. BJ and Jake, it was nice talking to you. You guys sure seem to be 'good people', down to earth and genuine. Haven't talked to Rick yet, but I can only presume that he fits right in with you guys. You may recall, I brought my son with me while he was home on leave from the Marines. He is just as big a fan as I am. When I picked him up at the airport one of the first things he said was " We've gotta go see Lower Case Blues while I'm home". Like I told you that night, you have some terriffic original material. You really should play more of your own stuff when you're playing live. Don't get me wrong, you guys do some mind boggling covers but you also do some mind boggling original stuff. I honestly believe LCB could easily be on the charts and nationwide if you were doing your own thing more. I'm looking foreward to the next time I can get out to see you play because you guys are as much fun to watch as to listen to. My oldest daughter ( she lives near Baltimore) called me last night to ask me when she could come down and go with me to see you. She's talking you guys up over there and wants to bring down a bunch of friends to join us. So, it looks like we may be seeing you soon. My two younger daughters ( 10 and 11 ) are fans too. I over heard the youngest out on the pool deck singing Judes Diner and the other one was in the house the other day singing " Whiskey after Dark " . I really didn't realize they were paying that much attention. On another note, My wife recently got a new cat with blue eyes and said she wanted to call him " Blue ". I told her only if his first name was LC. She wasn't real keen on the idea at first but I heard her the other calling fo him and she was saying, " Com
Hey guys We're Rocket 88 and we played two bands before you at the Turk's Head Festival. You were setting up as we were taking our stuff down.
Anyway we just wanted to say we really enjoyed your set and your style of music. I couldn't believe there was only three people, it sounded like more. We'll have to come out to see you guys again sometime.
