Low Level Flight - comprised of Ryan Malcolm (vocals, acoustic guitar), Shaun Noronha (bass, vocals), James Rooke (rhythm guitar, vocals), Dave Carter (lead guitar) and Brandon Merenick (drums) - are stellar songwriters who have created a powerful, hook laden sound with major league production that compliments the bittersweet lyrics and catchy songwriting. Their debut album, Urgency, released in Canada in 2007 on Malcolm's own I Heart Records, features the singles Change For Me, which spawned a number 1 video, and Say, which not only had a number 1 video, but also soared into the TOP 20 radio charts. Their third single, Turnaround, was released in support of Kids Help Phone, and again had tremendous success. The band has been performing live, and on television and radio across the country in support of the album, and are now working on their sophomore album, to be released in 2009.
So yeah, Prince William's agent/publicist/PR guy/whatever called us or rather called the head of our label, Sailor Mouth Records, to ask if we could play at some royal thing in a few months and we asked him for a dollar.
Anyway, there's a music video coming up very soon for three of our newest songs and there are also two new songs coming before the end of this coming week. An olm is a creature that lives in caves under Slovenia and is pretty much a glorified eel-it has no eyes but has little hands, for no apparent reason. The people who first discovered them thought they were baby dragons. Yesterday I watched TV.
Greetings! Hope everything’s going great for you . I have a new song , Overture , and a couple older updated tunes that I would be delighted if you'd take a few minutes to give them a listen . Best wishes and have a great week . Cheers!!!!
That was a great set at the Tattoo Rock Parlour. A canon of catchy hooks, surging rhythms, and arena-ready riffs, like a well-oiled rock machine rising with intensity. A great frontman, equally dynamic and charming, carving a niche of his own as a magnetic stage presence. With just the right dose of pop sensibility and Brit-inflected swagger, the high-energy of their live-show will bring the audience along for the ride.
Hey! We put a new song on our myspace called "Oh the Great Pine! Oh the Sad Truth...", so please go check it out and let us know what you think of it! =D ANYWAYS, hows it going? =) <3
