LSD March was founded in 1996 by Shinsuke Michishita,Makoto Inoue(Eddie Marcon) and Kohei Michishita.The band started live performances mainly in Western Japan.The compilation album"MUSHROOM A GO GO" was released by Gyuune(Japan) in 1998.In 1999 Kohei Michishita left the band,Eddie and Bill(COA) joined the band.The band released their self-titled debut album on Gyuune (Japan).In 2000 Eddie and Bill left the band,Masami Kawaguchi(ex.Keiji Haino's Aihiyo,Miminokoto,Broom Dusters) and Ikuro Takahashi(ex.Fushitsusha,Highrise,Che-Shizu,Maher Shalal Hash Baz,Kosokuya) joined the band.The band released "Suddenly, like flames" on Michishita's label White Elephant in 2001(This album was reissued by Last Visible Dog in 2004).Their 3rd album"Shindara Jigoku" was released by Siwa(US).In 2004 the band released 4th album"Kanashimi no Bisyounen" on HP Cycle(Canada) and toured in the US.The band played at "Million Tongues Festival" in Chicago.Their 5th album"EMPTY RUBIOUS RED" was released by White Elephant(This album was reissued by Archive in 2006 and tequila sunrise records in 2007).The band released"LIVE"(6th) on Archive and toured in Europe this year.The band played at "KRAAKfestival 2006" in Brussel and US tour.The US label Important Records released LSD MARCH's 7th album "Constellation Of Tragedy"and Beta-lactam Ring Records released LSD MARCH's 8th album "Nikutai No Tubomi"(2007)
The slingers and I are currently in the planning stages of a fall euro tour for GR, fall euro tour for the slingers, and an early spring US slingers tour.
