Indiepop band from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Luisa released its first demo in 2000, yet as a duo -- Fernando and Flavia. It was recorded at home in a 4 track. After that, PP, PC, Shockbrou and Luciano became members of the band too. An EP with 5 songs recorded during a rehersal was released by the brazilian label midsummer madness in 2001. Luisa played together with Cat Power in that same year in Rio, during the tour of the american band through Brazil. In 2002 the band released a single with the new recordings of Amarelinha and Bauhaus Today. In january 2005 is firts official album came out by a partnership between the brazilian labels midsummer madness and Volume 1. It´s distributed in Argentina by Muy Moderna Records. And it has been released in CDR in England by Action Pop! Records.
