Hi! I began drumming at age 12 studying under Tim Nash in Roswell, Georgia. A few years later I began learning music theory and jazz, afro-cuban, brazilian, funk and rock drumming under Jerry Fields.
While at Berklee I studied with Ian Froman, Jamie Haddad, Rod Morganstein, among others. Upon graduating I moved back down to Atlanta Georgia where I began gigging full time with all types of musicians and bands. I also began studying under famed Atlanta drummers Jeff Sipe and Kinah Boto who I am deeply influenced by.
Some of the musicians/bands I have performed with on stage include: Blueground Undergrass, Oteil Burbridge, Colonel Bruce Hampton, Count M'Butu, Chris Duarte, Sid Wolfe, Chicago Joe, The Drew Emmitt band, Bishop Don, The Seth Cowan band, Fort Jazz Big Band, Colorado Swing and I am currently performing with White Water Ramble.
Hey there, just so you know, this is our LAST SHOW EVER! The madness will not be held back! Hope you can make it! (if you have a pair of old red/ble 3-D glasses, put 'em on and view this poster. it's neat).
Please come help us celebrate the music of The Allman Brothers Band and The Grateful Dead this Saturday evening May 17 at Owsley's Golden Road, 2151 Lawrence in downtown Denver. The show will feature two full sets by each band performed by Mountain Jam and Mason's Children, and features former/current members of The Motet, Phix, Double Parked and Purple Buddha. Show begins promptly at 9:00 PM! See you there!
You can also catch Mountain Jam this Friday evening, May 16 at The Q in Cherry Creek (Detroit and 3rd Street) and on Friday, May 30 at the Boulder Theater in downtown Boulder.
Hey, I'm trying to bring local musicians together, if you or someone you know is looking for a band/band member, check out my site! http://fortcollinsbands. webs. com Thanks!
Man, great to find you here too! You sound great on that reggae track! Been doing different things in LaLa land, it's been good. Keep in touch! Peace, L.
We've been doing a lot of apartment hunting the past few weeks. Saw a huge place (1700sq ft) in a slightly more urban neighborhood that's extremely well priced (only a few hundred more than current place). Trying to get that kind of space in our current neighborhood or the other "quaint" parts of Brooklyn is looking to cost $5,000+, which just seems like a lot to pay in rent.
Only 11 weeks til the big day. Looking forward to head down there and see you guys.
