Formaram-se em 2003 e são neste momento uma das referências do pop/rock nacional. Desde a sua própria marca de bebida energética, aos temas inseridos em séries televisivas os Lulla Bye renovam-se constantemente.
2008 é o ano de consagração desta banda do Porto com a edição do segundo álbum cujo vídeoclip do tema single "Gone (and we dance)" conta com a participação de estrelas de Hollywood como Joe Reitman ("A perfect storm"), John Hawkes ("American Gangster") e Shannon Elizabeth ("American Pie").
O álbum "One Way" desta banda do Porto, sai para as lojas a 29 de Setembro, mas a FNAC disponibiliza-o para pré-venda através da sua página na net www.fnac.pt . Todos os discos comprados por este meio serão autografados pelos músicos dos Lulla Bye.

You can now buy Lulla Bye’s new album “one way”, and hear on their myspace page the song samples! The 1st single is "GONE (AND WE DANCE)", with lyrics by Hollywood actor and musician John Hawkes (Perfect Storm, CSI Las Vegas, Without a trace, American Gangster), who also participates on the audio track.
Also available is the musical video. Filming took place in Portugal in September and October 2007. John Hawkes stars in the video, together with Lulla bye and the actress Shannon Elizabeth (American pie, Scary Movie, Cursed). The director of the video was Joe Reitman, who is also an actor (Lady in the Water, Bandidas, Perfect Storm, CSI Miami /Las Vegas).
Who are Lulla Bye?
Probably one of the most successful self made artist in Portugal, Lulla Bye was founded in January 2003 at a time when 4 friends put 3 songs together to participate in a contest for new bands. The contest was to determine if people would like the way the band sounded, and the result was so good for them that they decided to go ahead and found Lulla Bye, the band.
Their smash hit "Making Me Better" was immediately accepted for airplay by most of the national and local radio stations in their homeland Portugal, then came an invitation to record part of the soundtrack for the television series "Morangos com Açúcar" that quickly became a number one hit on the TV charts.
The "Making Me Better" video clip was a huge success due to the participation of several Portuguese super stars related to the Fashion, music, television, and theatre industry.
At that time, the band had already made more than 80 shows in clubs and festivals, and had played with the bands The Calling, Melanie C, Extreme, Alanis Morrissette, and many others. Also made a Portuguese 12 day Tour for Sol Música.
Lulla Bye also has their own brand of energy drink, appropriately labelled "Lulla Bye", and now has a second flavour available.Their images have appeared in fashion catalogues; a concert was filmed for a cable TV station (Sol Musica).
In only 18 months after their 1st single release they already have 4 songs included in Best of cds compilations (for Radio stations and TV Series); 3 songs in the play list of international Radio Stations (Canada, Belgium, Australia, Mexico, Finland, South Africa, France, Israel, Holland).
