~Frequencies of every color, every black and every white. The rage and sacrifice of red, dignity of indigo, with suffering and serenity in shades of blue. Entwines the deep depressions of honesty only to find a strength in all of what it means.
~PERSPECTIVES ON "SHADES OF GRAY"
~There are many songs with the words “different shades of gray”. When I think about gray though I don’t think of its particular color as the staple of a shade, but a shade itself. It appears to me that gray either derives from white or black, not the other way around.
~The color white is not only a source of gray like black, but as well a source of all color. Its comparison to black outweighs in massive quantities. Emotions are like those two sources of shading.
~The spectrum of feelings we are equipped with allow us a broad sense of freedom. If we always think in terms of black it diminishes our perspective, closing up our mind. However, white is the staple of all color and if we let ourselves see in white it gives us a clean canvas.
LUMINAR AX is a conjoint experimental project between Czech composer and instrumentalist VLADIMÍR HIRSCH and American singer and poet DOVE HERMOSA, founded in the summer of 2007.
Dove Hermosa & Vladimír Hirsch finalized two albums - first, conceptual dark ambient experimental album "OPTEM SPECTRIS" and post-industrial rock album, a collection of remixes with the name "OUT OF THE AX".

The colletion represents the survey of development of author's creative effort in his concept of so called "integrated" musical form.
All albums were performed by author, some of them with participation of Czech Integrated Ensemble and soloists Dove Hermosa (vocal, lyrics), Martina Sanollová & Dominika Karčovská (vocals). Mastered by Vohtěch Haňka, Dušan Vozáry and Jan Seibt. Produced by Tom Saivon. Recorded and mixed at CatchArrow recordings studio, Prague, Czechia. Unifyied covers design created by exceptional Czech conceptual photographer Jan Vávra, with cooperation of author. The collection of works was completed by releasing last two albums, May 15, 2009.
