About me:

Hi! Yes, it's me, the "real" Lurlene McDaniel -- writer of those "crying and dying" novels -- setting up shop on MySpace and YouTube to better "talk" to you, my wonderful readers. Plus to show you that I'm "with it." Okay, so not very "with it" because except for writing my books on a computer, most of technology mystifies me. But I must move with the times and connecting with readers is a top priority. In months to come, I hope to introduce you to my new titles, their pub dates, answer questions, and generally get to know you in order to write books you want to read. I've written over 70 books and I'm still going, so I hope you'll want to read them all! (For info on all my books, visit my website!)

I live in Chattanooga, TN, a fab city nestled in a valley between two mountains -- Lookout and Signal. My backyard is a haven for flowers, a creek, wild birds, dogwood trees, and an occasional cat stalking the wild birds. It's a jungle out there. My office is in my home (video to come) and a window looks out over my flower beds and up at Signal Mountain and bright blue sky. Very inspiring. I just completed a novel, flew to New York for meetings with my agent and editor, and lined up my next several book projects. I love what I do. But most of all, I love knowing my work is touching readers' lives. So, ya'll keep in touch and read some good books between visiting cyberworld, texting, schoolwork, jobs, sports -- and all the rest of the things that fill up your busy days!
