Age oV Reason sound is nothing less than Inspirational, Hard Rock for the masses. The newest album produced by Mikey Doling (Snot, Soulfly, Invitro) and Jeff Hannan as the recording engineer (YMA/ Ross Robinson Studio's) has captured our unique sound. The core oV the band has been together for 3 years. Recently two new members has joined our vision. Chris Deak and Jayzon Davis.
Chris Deak came to us all the way from St. Louis MO. He is a wide range vocalist. Deak has many influences from classic rock, heavy metal, blues, jazz R&B. He is a powerful singer. Deak has a very unique energy; He can capture a crowd while performing. Las vegas and the world get your ears ready, Chris Deak is singing!
Jayzon Davis born in North Jersey was surrounded by music, guided by his mother, an accomplished pianist. JD started his musical journey playing piano. Wetting his lips on the trumpet then inspiring his fingers playing guitar and bass. His self motivation moved him to Hollywood, CA to attend MIT (Musicians Institute). Jayzon brings his perspective to Las Vegas. Inspired by Age oV Reason's sound, Jayzon solidifies the rhythm and moves the song with emotion.
Jack Long is a native born Vegas Nevadan; Jack was surrounded by and grew up in the power oV entertainment. A young punk rock youth, Jack was on stage with a top local band in the mid 90's. Their strong music created an atmosphere for Jack..'s powerful guitar solos and playing. In addition Jack has a collection oV old guitars that would make any player envious.
Shawn Fortney was born in the spud state oV Idaho and settled in Las Vegas in 1989. He got his first guitar in 1993. Shawn has a wide scale oV music the he was influenced by; classic rock, hip hop, heavy metal, funk,jazz, bluegrass and punk. Age oV Reason is the band that Shawn gets to play and express all these different styles. Shawn is the anchor oV the group. He lays down a heavy deep tone with crunch.
Joey Klaparda got his first drum set at the age oV five. His Mom said /"He beat it to pieces.." recalling the set his father bought him. Beating drums was very special. The boom, smack, and crash was the sound and action oV Joey..'s playground. Born and raised in North Hollywood California with drum sticks in hand. Joey connects the distinct sound with a heavy hitting pattern.
Last but not least to all the fans (juggalos included) regardless of the changes in our career we still have much love for you all. Because of you all none of this would be possible for us (AOR).. MaDD LuV....
