About me: 2007 CENTRAL OHIO LX SPRING M&G: COLUMBUS QUAKER STEAK & LUBE
Founded by car enthusiast and aviation professional, Anthony Carter in 2007, the idea first began after reading stories on internet automotive forums about Modern Mopar events held on the west coast and lack of activity on the east coast. He organized and founded an event in May 2007 called the Central Ohio LX Spring Meet & Greet, a local one-day gathering of internet forum members for Chrysler LX-platform and SRT enthusiasts in Columbus, Ohio and surrounding areas.
In October 2007, Anthony Carter and Chuck Green formed the partnership of ACG Motorsports LLC. Combining their efforts and resources they organized the Inaugural LX and Beyond Nationals in June 2008, a two-day weekend event featuring the late-model Chrysler (LX/LC) muscle cars, which was held in Columbus, Ohio. Due to the support of many automotive forums, over 40 supporting vendors and participation of 200+ attendees from 33 States, Washington DC, Canada and Australia, they went beyond a one-day gathering and included multiple drag racing and car show classes, a vendors midway and an extreme makeover contest on 2 vehicles.
The LX & Beyond Nationals is currently the nation's fastest growing Late-Model Mopar car show, drag racing and enthusiast event; open to the public and based solely on the Modern Dodge & Chrysler (LX/LC) musclecars. The weekend events include 1/4 Mile Drag Racing, Show & Shine Competition, Vendor Row, Swap Meet and other Special Events. You will see everything from completely stock to extremely modified and everything else is between. We invite you to come out see the latest visual and performance modifications, share ideas with fellow Mo'heads as well as make some new friends.
