A Lot of People Ask Me:
"Lowell, where do you get your inspiration ?"
And I tell them, it's been tough!
I grew up with every imaginable kind of distraction.
It was so hard to focus!
1961 - just another typical evening at work
Every day the same old thing. Bongos, Tribal Dancing, Ritual Mambo Parties, Space Visitors, Fellini Film Crews, the occasional Cattle Stampede
... you just can't imagine!
But I stuck at it. And no matter who was around, I taught myself how to get in touch with my inner spirit person where the pure thoughts reside.
I said to myself, my easel is my temple.
And to all those temptations who've
"friended" me, requested marriage ... or who've sent in those au natural pictures and webcam invites, I have to say:
"I am so sorry, but
just look at her:
my muse just wouldn't allow it."....

the art review:
well, I think the pictures, um...or the art that is, well...hmmmm, it's complex really ... rather ...but on the other hand, so to speak...I think, although I don't know anything terribly specific about your painting per se - actually - but it would seem ... well, at least one could feel, as it were, some, well ...rather, how does one say ...um ...a very strong something of an overwhelming suggestion of a hint of an unmistakably definite je ne sais qua.....
..

we welcome little pictures and long comments of lavish praise in poetic verse, any language...we prefer cash...
