After six resoundingly successful summer seasons, Cape Breton Lyrics & Laughter decided to end our run at the Louisbourg Playhouse. We reunited twice in 2008, returning to the stage at Louisbourg for two sold-out shows in August, and will be performing our first-ever Christmas show on 12-13 December at the Playhouse! This cast features the production's veteran performers: Colin Grant, Meaghan Grant, Michelle Hollohan, Eric Angus Whyte, and Adam Young. Andrew Tyne, a longtime cast member, will not be able to perform this December--he's currently cruising the Caribbean as an Assistant Production Manager with Princess Cruise Lines. Tickets for the Christmas performances are sure to go fast! To reserve your tickets, please phone (902) 733-2996, or e-mail lsbg.playhouse@ns.sympatico.ca.
In 2006, Lyrics & Laughter recorded our debut album, a self-titled disc containing thirteen tracks representing the best of songs recorded during the first five years of our run at the Playhouse. The disc has received widespread critical acclaim, and was nominated in 2007 for an East Coast Music Award for Roots/Traditional Group Album of the Year. It is available at the Louisbourg Playhouse, and also online at www.castlebaymusic.com. You can also preview several tracks right here on myspace.com/lyricsandlaughter.

I meant to do this a few weeks ago, but I wanted to thank you. I was named The 2007 Texas Singer/Songwriter of the Year, and I appreciate all of the support I received during the nomination/voting process.
I also just changed the songs on my profile and I invite you to check them out if you have a spare minute.
Hi guys, thanks for adding me as your bud! You were terrific (we missed you Andrew!!) last night at the 'hugs for Haitians' fundraiser - it was great of you to donate your time for such a worthy cause! Can't wait for summer at the Playhouse, hope they sell season's passes :-)
Thanks for the add, y'all! Great to see you at the ECMA Jam in Halifax recently, and I look forward to catching up with you this summer at the Playhouse!
And hey...earth-shattering news...the Playhouse is also bringing back "THE FLEUR-DE-LIS TRAIL PLAYERS" for two more weeks in September - we can't wait! Pics from previous shows are available on my own MySpace site, if you're interested!
Thanks for the add. You guys are talented! I look forward to hearing you more in the future, I hope! Take care, Happy Valentines Day and Good luck in your future ventures! From Ontario....Soon to be Nova Scotia in a year! Kirsten ;-)
