I'm originally from Houston, TX, I moved to New York City in 97. IT WILL BE 10 YEARS IN SEPTEMBER!!! So since coming here, I've been fortunate enough to tour/perform/ and record with some of my favorite musicians that inspired me to pursue music. Joshua Redman Elastic Band, Lizz Wright Band, Nicholas Payton Quartet, Greg Osby 4, Terence Blanchard Sextet, Wynton Marsalis and the JALC Orchestra, Jeff Tain Watts Quintet, Q-Tip. Along the way, I met some great friends and innovative musicians who I play consistantly with and who are all pushing music in great directions. John Ellis, Gretchen Parlato, Aaron Parks, Jeremy Pelt, Yosvany Terry, The Strickland Brothers and others.
As far as my band goes, if your in NY you can hear us down at The Jazz Gallery, Smalls, The Bar Next Door, and some other venues. We just recorded our debut CD which is out now. And also, I just recorded my second record for Criss Cross Records which will be in in April of 2008. Look out for it!

Hi Mike! I really love your songs. You'll to paly in Brazil, but don't will come to Sao Paulo? You need to play in Sao Paulo. It's serious. Becouse it's the moust important city of Brasil. And I work in a great music school (that's Berklee association school), and you should to play our to give a masterclass there. So, my e-mail is febaggio@gmail.com write me, ok?
Thank you for accepting my request :-) I really enjoy your work especially with the Aaron Parks Band, the mix of the piano and the guitar is great, there are not too many groups using this formula which in my point of view requires a great harmony and a special harmonic cohesion, and you and Aaron are in a perfect musical balance ! All the band stick together, it sounds great !!! The "Invisible Cinema" album and the video that we can find on the internet are powerful, especially the excerpts of the J&R Music Festival. Cheer also for the samples that we can listen on your page, that's splendid ! That gives the desire for listen to enterity of the albums :-) Do you plan to perform in France these next months ? I hope to listen to you on stage one of these days...
Hey Mike, great show last night at Smalls! Checked it out live on their site...wish i could have been in there in person. Really liked all the new compositions! Hope to hear ya again soon. All the best from PA, Jason
