About me:

I graduated from Northampton Area Senior High in 1999, Earned my B.A. in English from Moravian College in 2005, and am currently living in the Lehigh Valley, PA.

I've been twisting my own wrenches on my own automobiles since about age 13. I've restored a 1987 Pontiac Fiero, retrofitted Tuned Port Injection into a Pontiac Firebird and my latest project includes a 1968 Pontiac Tempest Custom Convertible to be retrofitted with my own designed port fuel injection and a TH200r4 overdrive transmission.

I am also into tasting wine, high-end Tequila, trying new beers and sampling a wide array of food.

I'm currently working for DBSi. I used to work at Valley Forge as a technical writer, doing after market wiring diagrams, the PA Liqour Control board's Downingtown store, WIOV's promotions director and I also used to be the evening and overnight DJ at WGTY 107.7FM in Gettysburg/York. Also in a previous life the overnight DJ at Cat Country 96 in Allentown, as well as production assistant, promotions assistant and MOAT (Man Of All Trades). Way back in the day, I was a DJ and founding president of WRMC at Moravian, and I also used to flip wax at Club 417. I've also got a few years of retail experience spread between Home Depot, Phillips Feed, Indian Creek Tree Farm and Sears.

    So I heard on Comcast in between innings of the Phils game that the Flyers traded Lupul for Pronger and was happy. Then I went to the Flyers site and saw they also traded two first-round picks, a conditional third-rounder, and worst of all, the most promising young talent they have (or had) rights to -- Luca Sbisa. 
    Fantastic! {rolls eyes} And I'm sooooooooo glad they signed Ray Emery after a big year in Russia the summer that Stanley Cup-winner Jean-Sebastian Giguere becomes a free agent. All Giguere ever did was put on the best postseason goaltending performance in history.
    I thought Bob Clarke stepped down as GM but from the latest idiotic moves, it looks like he still has plenty of pull within the organization.

    If Biron can play the way he did in the playoffs last season, I could see this being a very nice run since the team has plenty of scoring prowess.
    Unfortunately, I doubt Marty can do so. Goaltending has been the one constant that's bothered me for the past 10-15 years.
    Yeah, I was planning on getting playoff tix. Does your girl want in? I want to take mine to a game because I keep telling her there is absolutely NOTHING like playoff hockey. Lemme know if I should get three or four tix.
    And I'm definitely in to catch the Phils a few times, as well.

    OK, so the Eagles usually-idiotic front office has now pulled two moves this off-season that I actually agree with. 1) Released Kearse. The only thing "freak-ish" left about him was his freakish decline in quality and weight. 2) Signed Asante Samuel.


    This can only mean one of two things, either:
    1) They have finally gotten their heads out of their tight assholes and are going to try to win a title instead of just putting enough pieces of the puzzle together to make the post-season

    OR

    2) This is just a tease and they are actually gearing up for the most insanely idiotic move to date

    Hopefully it's the former, but I fear greatly that it is the latter.
