Black Clover Barrel Aged Series V.1
The Original 11:11 Sessions
What’s up everybody? While I am very proud of the version of 11:11 that was released in 2007, I have wanted the world to be able to listen to this version for some time now. All of these songs were written in 2004. I very much believe that you will enjoy hearing the energy I had for lyric writing, and the youthful spirit captured with these songs. Death, humor, sensualism. 11:11’s original draft. LIMITED EDITION, BUY NOW
Crown Prime Mixtape
Irish people have emotions too. That being said, after playing over 100 shows on 3 separate tours in under 6 months-- Mac Lethal had a lot of emotions with no target to throw them at. It seemed that he couldn't go a night without a few drinks, or without calling people on the phone to have conversations about the perils of life. His friend DJ Sku began to get worried for him. He decided it was time to make the first Mac Lethal mixtape.
"I basically sat him down and explained to him that all he needs to do is rap over whatever music I play him, and this will calm him down and regulate his chaotic emotions." Sku explains. "We'd sit at the house. I'd play a beat, give Mac a 6 pack of Old Rasputin, or Schlafley's Summer Kolsch, and I'd leave the room. An hour later I'd come back and Mac would have a new mixtape song done."
Crafted drunkly over the course of June and July, Mac Lethal and DJ Sku's CROWN PRIME RIB MIXTAPE, is a journey through extravagant rhythms, impeccable rhyme writing, and very odd concepts over DJ Sku's favorite turntable canvases.
Black Clover Records is proud to finally have stake in the mixtape game. Rappers beware, while you're being the best rapper ever, this drunken, bald-headed Irish boy might trip and fall into you, shattering your front teeth. And being that he doesn't have insurance, you will talk fucked up for the rest of your life.
We're proud to announce the Official Rhymesayers debut from Kansas City's Native son Mac Lethal. One of URB's Next 100, Mac Lethal has been making a name for himself for years. Wether its terrorizing rappers at events like Scribble Jam ('02 MC Battle Champion) or earning his road dog stripes touring with artist like Atmosphere, Sage Francis and P.O.S, Mac Lethal has arrived and he's brought his signature sarcastic observation on life with him.
11:11 is a cynical, drunk, thought provoking and hard hitting album about beer, distaste with religion, kissing girls and most of all Kansas City. More fun that serious, but sometimes serious in a fun way.
Yo Mac your one of the best artists on the market right now, I especially like your work with Grieves and The song with the The Let Go. Keep it up man.
The new E&A "By the Throat" just crossed my desk and for some reason it made me want to slit my wrists?? Sad day in hip-hop...Grieves should do a collab with em...ahaha
