Magnapop are a four-piece pop-core band from Atlanta, GA. Singer Linda Hopper and Guitarist Ruthie Morris have been playing together for years. After a self imposed hiatus, and the addition of Scott Rowe on bass and Chad Williams on drums, the band is back, revitalized and ready to rock with a new album, "Mouthfeel".
"...Magnapop's long-forgotten lesson -- one in abundance on the band's new disc, "Mouthfeel" -- is that being "edgy" sometimes is just a matter of playing it cool."
"...delivering 11 tight, exciting new songs without a dud in the midst, the band never forgets what it means to kick the hell back into a melody."

"Piece of Cake" is my favorite song of yours, among countless others.
"Merry" is really fun on a summer drive, or any drive really.
And "Slowly, Slowly" has been a theme song for me two times in my life: once when I was, like, twelve, and then last year when I made the big move out west from the east.
Thanks for the add guys, let us know if you ever need any work done. You wont find screen printing cheaper any where! Sell some merch and put some gas in that van
I will forever be grateful when Linda wished me a Happy 18th Birthday at the Palace in Hollywood just before she started singing "Favorite Writer"...Hope to see ya in LA again!
OH MAN I'm sooo excited! So, so, so story about this song: My mom bought "rubbing doesn't help" when I was five years old and I stole it from her and listened to it all the time and memorized all the words and it was my favorite C.D. until I was like 12 when it got stepped on and cracked :( And my favorite song was "My Best Friend" and I sang it all the time, so much that now all my REAL best friends actually know the words, even though they've never heard the song, I've searched for it everywhere online, and about 3 times a year I get it stuck in my head so bad that I can't think about anything else...which is where I was the other day when I left you guys that comment! Thank you so, so much, I really didn't think you'd ever comment back and am in complete awe!
Love, The biggest (and at one time the youngest) magnapop fan everrrrr
