MAJORITY LOST ON THE REAL WORLD!

Four Aging punks...picked to live in a house....
Ok, no not really.
But you can hear a couple Majority Lost tunes in the new Real World/Road Rules Challenge: The Ruins. A snippet of "Greatest Lie" is in episode two and a huge chunk of "Fight On" was in last nights episode, 5 "Reversal of Fortune" and should be replaying about 90 times this week.

We are up and running again after our "Drummer got Married" hiatus. New Shows to be posted soon. We will some important news and announcements for you shortly.

Lots of news from the home front. Where to begin?

First off…our new ep “…Falls off the Bandwagon” will be out June 12th on iTunes, interpunk, and any show we are playing!! Its our first release on Horns-Up Records, which we are stoked about. We posted a few songs from it. Check em out! We also added some new pics taken by our friend Steven Beard.

Shows shows shows…..we have some good ones coming up. First off, we’re playing with the Briggs and Time Again at the Knitting Factory in Hollywood on May 29th. Go to Ticketmaster for tickets. Next, we are playing the BuFest at Paramount Ranch in Malibu, CA with some amazing bands. Be sure to check it out. Our private CD RELEASE show has been posted at Swinghouse Studios. All ages, with an OPEN BAR. That’s right….and an OPEN BAR which will be bartended by two of our lovely friends. Both opening bands are good friends and GREAT bands….My New Vice from Portland, OR, and Get Dead from San Francisco, CA. Only 61 capacity, so hit us up now for tickets. We also have some shows coming up in Northern CA and Oregon, so be sure to check out the dates. And…we’re booking a tour for the end of summer. So keep an eye out!

Other big news…our friend and old guitar player Donal Finn has left our band to continue his full time producing/engineering career at Riot Riot Studios. We have made a really good transition with our new guitar player Jan Drees. Thanks to our friends in Setoff for introducing us. It worked out great, come see Jan (pronounced Yawn haha) at a show.

And….we have already begun writing our next full-length album which we are excited about. Lots of new music and shows coming soon…as in NOW!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS PUNK ROCKERS!!! So much to say….where do we begin??

First off, we posted some new pictures from our recent trip to Oregon, as well as some pictures from our show at the Knitting Factory w/ Get Dead, Unfallen Heroes, By All Means, and Sixes and Sevens, courtesy of our friend/photographer Steven Baird.

We just got back from playing up in Oregon with some great bands, and saw a lot of old friends and met plenty of new ones. We played two showcase shows for Horn-Up Records, and every band on the label is AMAZING!! We had the pleasure to play with My New Vice, Unfallen Heroes, MDC, The Altarboys, Bitchin’ Summer, and All Bets On Death. We missed playing with Kill the Kids who had a big show of their own with the Smooch Girls, but got to hang out with the guys the whole trip. Thanks to all of the bands, friends, and fans that made this trip one we will never forget…..as usual every time we got to Oregon. Cheers to everyone! HEEEEYYYOOOOOOO……….subs!

We are finishing up recording for our split with Unfallen Heroes (Portland, OR) and Get Dead (San Francisco, CA) which will be coming out on Horns-Up Records early next year, so keep an eye out. And while you’re at it, be sure to go the Horns-Up Records page and check out ALL of the bands. There are some amazing bands on the label all up and down the coast. Thanks to Guil and Smiley for making it all possible! We got to hang out before/at/after the show, and they are great guys, with a great label that we are happy to be a part of.

We have some upcoming shows, including this weekend in Pomona celebrating the release of Punk Rock Concoction Volume 3 at Friar Tucks in Pomona w/ Skyline Collapse, By All Means, and Sixes and Sevens. We also have an acoustic show with Time Again coming up at the Knitting Factory on December 16th. We will be booking dates for a March/April tour, so keep an eye out.

HAPPY FALL EVERYONE!
Just wanted to let all you suckas know exactly what is going on in the world of Majority Lost.
We are hard at work in the studio to bring you our next album by the beginning of next year. Our First track from it "Soul For Sale" is up for your listening pleasure....seems to be a crowd favorite already...

In the meantime we will be featured on the Punk Rock Concoction 3 comp with all of our punk rock brethren. We are also putting out a split with our good friends UNFALLEN HEROES and GET DEAD on Horns Up Records due out soon.

We have been giggin locally and enjoying beautiful southern California....but we do miss the North. So December 5th and 6th we are OREGON BOUND. Just a couple shows to tide us over until the weather breaks and we can do a full tour. But it should be a fucking blast. Stay tuned for dates....
Other then that, we are focused on making this album the best one yet. We are so surprised by the response to the last one, we know we have to fucking blow your minds. As soon as its released, look for us in a town near you.

Howdy!

Well....a little update for the end of summer.....shows and new releases!!!!

We have been slaving away in the studio writing our new releases....that's right...plural! We are going to be releasing a 3-way split with our friends Unfallen Heroes (Portland, OR) and Get Dead (San Francisco, CA) on Horns-Up Records (Portland, OR) at the end of the year. We already have a lot of new material to choose from that we are really excited about! We also have a HUGE show coming up Saturday, Septermber 27th with both of these bands, as well as our favorite locals to play with, By All Mean, and Sixes & Sevens! We are headlining the front stage at the Knitting Factory in Hollywood Ca. The show is all ages, and if the amazing lineup wasn't enough, we are taking an ALL AGES party bus to the show. Hit us up ASAP if you want to go with us on it, first come first serve....and yes, seats are open to EVERYONE....strangers are welcome to become friends!!! What’s new with us? LOTS OF STUFF!!!

We just got back a couple weeks ago from our Pacific Northwest tour, which was amazing to say the least. We posted some pictures from the tour in our pics section. Check em out! We met some of the most awesome people, and played some of our best shows to date. Thanks to everyone that came out to the shows, partied with us, and supported us in anyway. A big thanks to Unfallen Heroes and Kill the Kids for their help with booking, playing, sleeping arrangements, awesome shows…etc. We love you guys!!

We have been in the studio, starting to write our new record. We have a few songs going, and are really stoked on the overall progression and sound we are getting. We’ll be writing all summer with some local shows throughout. We also are starting to plan out our fall touring, keep an eye out for dates!

Many of you may already know, but for those who don’t……yes, it’s true. We have a new guitar player. Our old guitar player and friend, Andy, had to leave the band to take care of his family. He and his wife Sara had their second child, Easton James Gerber. We couldn’t be more excited for the two of them! Our new guitar player is Donal Finn, who also produced/engineered our record, so we couldn’t be happier with him joining. The shows with Donal have been amazing, and we are stoked to have him as part of the family.
