Q. How did you guys come up with the name, Making April?
A. We had just recorded some demo songs in late March of 2005 and we were looking to get them online and start promoting them. We had to think of a name in order to do this but couldn't settle on anything. We kept telling each other that we had to make up a name by April, so once April came and we still had no name, our name became Making April. Bling!
Q. I looked everywhere and couldn't find your CD. How do i get it?
A. We are an unsigned artist which means we don't have distribution through a record label. Therefore, our CD isn't available to buy at your local record store. The only way to get our music is to order a CD online through SmartPunk.com, send money to our address and have a CD mailed to you, or download it from itunes. All of the links are in the music section of our myspace page.

We just wanted to start by thanking you for all the recent support. After an amazing two months of touring, we're back at home in New York writing our debut album. Over the next couple of weeks we are going to finally launch our Online Store as well as some footage we shot from the road. After selling out of our debut EP, we had a second batch pressed with the addition of Hurry up & Wait and Runaway World (Acoustic). So definitely keep a look out for that if you haven't picked up a copy yet!
Recently we began climbing the unsigned artist charts and we're happy to announce that MA is ranked 13th overall. We're hoping that with all of your continued help and support, you guys can take us to the very top:)

Things were going so well in the studio that we had a little extra time, so we recorded an acoustic version of "Runaway World" which is also free to snag at our Purevolume page. Hey all, we are very excited to announce that our song, "These are the Nights" will be featured on MTV's Laguna Beach. Episode 13 of Season 3 (the prom espisode) will air tonight at 10pm and will rerun throughout the week, so tune in!

We have some awesome news! We signed a deal with Radtone Music in Japan and will be releasing a full length version of our original EP, "Runaway World." The full length will feature the original eight songs as well TWO NEW songs. The cd is scheduled to be released exclusively in Japan sometime in November, but we will also be placing it on U.S. iTunes as well. Be sure to check out the acoustic studio session we recently filmed of Roses and Butterflies which may accompany the Japan full length.
Other than that, we are working on setting up some East Coast tour dates once we are finished in the studio later this month. So hang tight and drop us a line if you know of any shows/places you want us to play at.
