Since June of 2005, the MALEDICTION SOCIETY has sparked an Industrial Revolution in the Los Angeles Underground with a vengeance. Flaunting some of the finest special events in the city, including the Aristocracy Ball (Labor Day Weekend), the Monochrome Ball (Memorial Day Weekend), the Steampunk Ball (Anniversary), our monthly Zodiac events (1st Sundays of the Month), and so much more, MALEDICTION SOCIETY returned a stagnant scene into a new rennaissance of pomp and circumstance and set a new standard of decadence. As the brainchild of two of Los Angeles' most prolific and accomplished DJs teaming up together as partners in crime for the first time, Amanda Jones (Das Bunker, Perversion, ECE) and Xian (Ruin Hollywood, Wumpskate, LADEAD), deliver a precise schematic of DARKWAVE, SYNTHPOP, INDUSTRIAL, EBM, AGGROTECH, and NEOCLASSICAL every Sunday Night for your aural pleasure.

For your indulgence the Society offers a gorgeous lost-style venue (recently remodelled!), including a state of the art sound and lighting system, a vast rooftop patio of vice, a large wooden dancefloor set below vaulted ceiling, crimson crystal chandeliers, immortality through the lense, compliments of Violet Photography and Nervous Photography (special events only), and fortunes with our resident seer, Scarab in the luxurious PARLOUR every week. In the past we have also had the pleasure to work with the infamous fetish crew, Severe Society, as well as such distinctive photographers as Rob Vogel Photography, Darque Eyes Studios, The Wicked Producer, and Vu Photography.
