I began emceeing in 2005 when I was a junior in high school and I started going to this teen center in Ann Arbor, MI called The Neutral Zone. I remember being in the studio there and listening to a friend of mine on the turntables and thinking to myself, “I really wanna rap.” So later on that week I asked my friend who DJs and another friend of mine from school if they wanted to start a rap group. So we formed this crew, called T5E, and began working on our first CD. When kids at school started telling us that they liked it we began working on our second LP that we released during our senior year in high school, 2006. After I graduated I still wanted to continue working on music but with a larger group. So I asked two more of my friends from school to join me and ended up in a 5 man group called Tree City. When Tree City formed we gained more popularity in the local scene and doing shows All over Michigan. I, as well as Tree City, have opened for acts such as: Binary Star, One.Be.Lo., Phat Kat, Buff-1, Invincible and Finale, The Abolitionists, Bronze Nazareth, and more. I am also an aspiring producer using mostly the Akai MPC 2000XL sample and drum machine as well as being familiar with programs like Pro Tools, Fruity Loops, Garage Band, and Reason. TREE CITY!!
