"The Question" New Indie Rock Ballet Benefit for THE DANCE FUND by JT Horenstein & Flicker House Productions is a theatre piece entirely danced to a progressive, independent rock score. This gripping story is based upon the author’s experiences while sitting on a Jury for a first degree murder trial; certain questions came to mind: “What really happened on the night leading up to the murder? In “The Question”, an ensemble of 26 relives this dramatic tale, masterfully revealing all evidence for the truth to finally be known: bodies and music being the only devices on which to rely. The decision is made. The stage is bare. Light falls dim. The future is now the past. It all began with one little question. Performers dance to the Music of artists Inara George, Jamie Cullum, Yoav, Sean Hayes, Sigor Ros, The Faint, Feist, Deathcab for Cutie, and Korn featuring Amy Lee. I'm thrilled Obama got the nomination - I'm sure you probably are, too. :) Now if the Democratic party can just unite and rally together for positive change. It certainly is desperately needed.
On a completely different note, over two years later and at a point where I never thought it would happen, I've finally got a plan to see Sweeney. So, even though I'm many miles from NYC and we're all in different places now than we were then, I still thank you for being the initial spark that ignited my passion for the show, and that it led me not only to a moving story and beautiful music, but to the group of overwhelmingly kind friends who are actually making this possible for me now.
Hey M! I've been off-line for a while, so I just decided to catch up on your Sunday Songs. I have to tell you, I am now a little addicted to Those Shoes. I mean, what's better than a great pair of shoes? ;)
