My solo project works like a memory system; it’s a sound archive in which I capture and process my observations and experiences on everyday life.

A couple of years ago I used to play in a band from Düsseldorf called 'soul's off fire' togehter with Florian Dürrmann, Beate Engels and Jovan Stojsin.
In 2002 and 2005 we released an EP and single on our own record label toplo records
(http://www.toplo.net). The same time I started to write and record songs for my solo project formely known as blueelephant. I recorded my songs with a Tascam 4track and an acoustic guitar. Now I'm more and more interested in programmed beats, electronic sounds and some electricccc guitar effects combined with my vocals.
In 2006 I met Volker Bertelmann aka Hauschka in his Studio One in Düsseldorf/Germany where we recorded my songs.
In the same year I moved to London, Uk to do my MA in fine art at Central Saint Martins. Since then I am based in London to continue my projects in music and visual art.
