Mao Sareth was one of Cambodia's top singers during the 60's and 70's. Unfortunately, like most artists, she also perished during the Khmer Rouge era. Mao Sareth had a very distinct, unique and strong voice. According to rumors, Mao Sareth was deeply in love with Sin Sisamouth. Although there are no facts to prove this it was also said they had a secret affair going on but it wasn't long before their relationship ended.
