Sounds Like
I WROTE ALL THESE POP RECORDS...
Stuff my fingerprints are all over (playing/co-writing/producing etc...)
-OCTOPUS...Syd barrett influenced pop on Food/Parlophone. Was my first band. I wrote the songs but didn't do the dishes. 4 singles. 1 LP. Lots of touring pre-carbon footprint hint.
-----------------------------------------------------THEY CAME FROM THE STARS, I SAW THEM (Lo Recordings)...produced debut LP & singles and played live with them (may still do.) This was always going to work as I had my own denim spacesuit.
------------------------------------------------------ADEM (Domino Records) asked me after an improv session for Sam Britten (Icarus, who I also supplied guitar rips for laptop mashery) if I'd like to help him play live. Did lots of work up to and after his Homesongs LP. I played guitar, sung BVs,glock, harmonium and colouring-in book.Toured extensively as a duo and 4piece.
-------------------------------------------------------JIM REID (Jesus & Marychain) produced his debut solo single "Song for a Secret" and played stuff on it too. Jim sings Ikea instructions...it's Rock n Roll. Played live with Jim until he drunkenly kicked the bassist and I offstage. I thought it was funny. The audience threw glasses.
--------------------------------------------------------MENTASM...Legendery night I started with Tom Barwick and Pete Fowler amongst many. Originally at my studio in Stoke Newington. Will resurface soon.
-------------------------------------------------------EMILY WARDILL, Artist I collaborated with on "A Lake of Blood" on the LP "Remove Celebrity Centre." This is an integrated performance/film piece first aired at Espace Electra,Paris.
--------------------------------------------------------MARC MEON is me. I've been producing solo work for years, some of which will be released this year. Available from Rough Trade Digital soon.
----------------------------------------------------------Have done soundtrack work for ICA London, Channel 4 (I did the Daisy Donovan theme tune!) IBM Interactive, Edinburgh Festival, Ringtones for Karmarama etc.
