Arcane's love for black metal began in fall of 2004. It quickly grew into a lifestyle. With 6 years drumming experience already, a guitar was purchased in May 2005. Self-taught, Arcane began to write songs in fall of 2005. The first demo known as "The Cold Sea" was released early winter of 2005. Shortly after the demo the Swedish label/distro Inner Voice Records wanted to release the next album on tape as did Brazilian label Vampiria Records. Without taking any break, more songs came out and thus "Hail Victory" began and was completed in February 2006. With a new album titled "The Odyssey" finished, Arcane has begun to change the sound towards folk/Viking black metal which will be more strongly composed and more sophisticated than older releases.

yeah dude, things are going nicely. we put out our album (as I had said), starting to get reviews back, and its all been good so far, but the biggest thing is we in BBE is getting a profile feature in fuckin Metal Hammer for next months issue!!! If you're not familier with MH, its a big time UK magazing, they cover the whole metal spectrum, so a lot of trendy popular bands in there, but fucking shit, still! Just found out tonight from my bandmate. SUPER stoked!
