I own a fair collection of cd's, but there are not too many artists that reoccur often in that collection.
There are however two artists that I truly admire: Prince (his concerts are the best I ever saw)
and Jacques Brel (if I could rise one musician from the dead for one day...)
Next to that I like: Joni Mitchell, James Brown (rest in peace, brother), Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, Portishead, Mariza, Tricky, Nelly Furtado, Barbara, Natacha Atlas, Bach, Leonard Cohen, PJ Harvey , Bob Dylan (although the concert I saw was one of the worst ever) ... you get the idea ...
Movies
I like films, but they're not important enough in my life to mention them.
Television
No thanks. Except for Tony Soprano maybe. He's the only right-winged fucker I kinda like.
Books
Italo Calvino, Haruki Murakami, Gerrit Achterberg, Helmut Krausser, Fernando Pessoa, Paul Van Ostaijen...

My main tool of expression is language, basically my own, Nederlands, that is. This explains why I'm not too fond of Myspace... it's pretty hard to give words the sound they deserve.
