Singer songwriter, Marina's first album, ACIDULE, is released in France the 5TH MARCH 2007 on the
label the Perfect Kiss. Featuring Marc Collin's delicate and original
arrangements, the mood of this French pop album is both ethereal and
sparkling, in the vein of the artists she admires... from Kate Bush to
Cocteau Twins, Beth Hirsh/Air, Fraser/Massive attack...
An other album "Cinema enchanted" has just been released in Japan, the album's concept is based on songs from French films of the 60's period, and for the most part, the nouvelle vague movement. it's released on an special edition limitated in France in march 2007.
She
has also written a musical narrative for children "Astral Fairyland" which
is due to be released in the near future. The illustrations of "Astral
Fairyland" are her own as the visual arts have an important place in her
creative activity.
She
prepares now tree different albums, one in England, one in Germany and another project for the french theater....

The 5th march 2007 : release of ACIDULE 2006 : she interprets "Fade to grey" "O pamela", "Waves" and "Eisbear" on the second album of Nouvelle Vague, "Bande a part" release in june.
2005/2006 : on tour with Nouvelle Vague all around the world
June2004 : interprets "A Forest" and "Sorry for
Laughing" for Nouvelle Vague
2002 : concert at "Le Baiser Sale", "la clef", "Marilou's bar"

Auteur compositeur interprète, elle vient de sortir au japon un album pop français avec marc collin "Acidule" chez Rambling. Projet aux arrangements raffines et originaux, aux ambiances éthérées et pétillantes, dans la veine de tout ce qu'elle aime (de Kate Bush, Cocteau Twins, Beth Hirsh/Air, Fraser/Massive attack...) . "Acidule" est le 5 MARS 2007 en France avec un coffret spécial édition limitée comprenant "Cinéma enchanté".
Cet autre album, "Cinéma enchante" est un album de reprise des chansons de films, des années 60, on y trouve des titres rares, tels "les aventuriers" de François de Roubaix, à des chansons phares telles "Amour, amour" extraite du film "Peau d'âne".
De plus, elle a écrit un conte musical pour enfant "L'Astral des fées", comme la peinture tient également une place importante dans sa création, elle a illustre ce conte pour enfant.
Enfin, Marina prépare actuellement 3 nouveaux projets de disque, un pour l'Allemagne, un pour l'Angleterre et enfin un projet de théâtre chanté pour la France... à suivre

I've been researching, slowly but surely, "LES HOMBRES CHINOISE".
I'm thinking that a shadow play is truly subversive way of showing what is and isn't going on in the world on many levels. It seems to show that people look at the shadows and the light without considering properly the people that pull the shapes or 'strings'...

Je crois qu'un jeu d'ombres est la façon vraiment subversive de montrer ce qui est et ne continue pas dans le monde sur beaucoup de niveaux. Il semble montrer que les gens regardent les ténèbres et la lumière sans considérer correctement les gens qui tirent les formes ou 'les ficelles'...
