About me: Hello hello the name is Mario. Im 24, there's a lot to me that I don't think I can condense. I'm focused, intelligent, funny, sincere, mature and very nice perhaps too much as I've recently discovered. At least this is what my friends tell me I'm not in the habit of going on and on about myself. PSYCHE! What am I about, well right now what takes up most of my time has to be thoughts on how I can be a better person. How can I make a contribution? I keep focusing on this quote by Gandhi that suggest that we must first be the change we wish to see in the world. I hope to be kinder more compassionate productive less quick to judgement and anger... all that good stuff. Hopefully, one day my own personal shifts no matter how superficial or profound will have an effect on the world. I'm 24 and I feel as if my life isn't all that it could be so now I'm focused on accomplishing much more internally. (People who announce that they're accomplished are bizzare to me) I've never really put a lot of stock in superficial things. When I think about where I want to be in the future I don't think about the kind of car I'll be driving my goals are much more personal. In short in life it's more important to value experiences and people not things. Interestingly enough I feel as if I'm transitioning now most people presume to be "grown" because of a lot of topical things all the while they have the minds of children (you know what I mean lol). My favorite author Toni Morrisson called it the changing of habits to simulate maturity. In any case, I feel a sincere shift within myself I feel much more in control I've taken a step towards my center. And yet this transition has been especially difficult for me for reasons both internal and out of my control. I've had experiences which have taught me in the end to listen to my instincts and speak the truth.
Admittedly, I haven't figured what I want to do with myself. But whatever it is it will be something to see. In any case, I only spend time with positive sincere well intentioned people so if that's not you. I've learned to make the choice to take my leave.
There's nothing more to say I guess, if you want to get to know me, you can take a look at my slideshow it started out as something to put on my page but it's evolved into much more, it shows almost everything I think is cool, sexy, powerful, important, interesting, beautiful and makes me feel good.
