Richard Ashcroft, The Smiths, Tracy Chapman, Bob Marley and Kate Bush. M-A is a singer songwriter from London who has supported Amy Winehouse and Jamie Scott. A cross between Eagle Eye Cherry and Damien Rice, M-A sings about love and heartbreak with language that heals the soul.

M-A comes from musical stock. His mother did tours of Africa and Arabia in her youth while his father is a record producer based in St Vincent. M-A's cousin, Derrick Morgan, was a huge star in the Caribbean and, before Bob Marley brought the sound of reggae to the world, was responsible for shaping ska music as we know it.
Says M-A: ''My inspiration comes from my love of all music. I find Richard Ashcroft to be an inspirational songwriter. Bob Marley is an amazing lyricist. Still, my first band was a pseudo punk band. I had a bald head, wore eyeliner, DMs and an army shirt and ended up supporting Reef, The Hives and Feeder.''
When not socialising in Notting Hill Gate or Hoxton, M-A appears regularly on the London singer songwriter circuit and is available for publishing and recording.

if i had a gun would i use it?
pull that trigger, abuse the power? would i use it? dominate, power-play make my way with it? if i had a gun could i hurt someone, make some money, shoot for fun?
guns are not cool! certainly not for kids to bring to school x to hold a class to ransom, to live a life so random... or is that normal now? i'd like to vow to make a change through Music, of all the mediums as some profess its the cause of all this mess.... Music for the better, just like for richer or poorer, nowdays musicians tend to be the latter, so with a pure heart, no gun in hand or till death do us part; i intend to spend some time doing something good x I can't make a change like robin hood, but i can at least try to do some good x
good floats like wood, whereas steel sinks like stone, bite the bone and take it home x bite the dust if you must, but at least before you do, try to make a change for good as good floats, yes you guessed it, like wood x
