After releasing his last album “SOULutions" nationally, Mark J is back with his latest project called, “An Everyday World.” This is definitely the most diverse and in depth work by Mark to date!! He takes you on a global journey - but from an everyday world vantage point. Realizing that sin is universal, regardless of a person’s skin color, place of origin or ethnic creed, Mark J concludes that there be must a universal answer; and that is through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The musicality of the album is a roller coaster of different genres and instrumentation that leads to a perfect blend of global world music. The album delves into rock, techno and soul, yet keeps the true essence of hip hop. The album features production by powerhouses such as Tony Stone, G-Styles, Juice 20/20, J. Pierre, David Hackley, Kid Classic and Truth!!! Mark says, "This album sonically has a universal feel because the world is a smaller place now due to technology. You can’t peg hip-hop to one sound anymore. We as artists must grow as music grows in order to reach this world for Christ". Mark J has married futuristic hip-hop sounds with solid biblical truths of the Gospel, bringing to mind the realities of this everyday world with the truth of God.

The album release last night was ridiculous! The rock song is banging and I truly appreciate you making a song about Darfur, that is dear to my heart. Love the album. I praise God that with each album you take it to another level. Love ya. Keep reppin the kingdom.
Keep it up Mark J!! I remember seeing you at Hoop Heaven back in '03, you were literally my introduction to Christian Hip-Hop (I still have and listen to the copy of city of pain you gave me). It's great to see that you're still active, still creating those albums and still delivering the word through your rhymes and your words. You didn't just rap at Hoop Heaven, you taught too, and I appreciate it. Now Christian music is the majority of what I listen to, especially Christian Hip-Hop. So thanks again, can't wait to get a hold of "An Everyday World"!
