About me:
Mark's new novel, "THE KING OF METHLEHEM," was published in hardback by Simon and Schuster in May, 2007, and the trade paperback was published in May 2008. Website: www.marklindquist.net
Who I'd like to meet:
"Genuine politics -- politics worthy of the name -- the only politics I am willing to devote myself to -- is simply a matter of serving those around us: serving the community and serving those who will come after us. Its deepest roots are moral because it is a responsibility expressed through action, to and for the whole." -- Vaclav Havel, writer and former president of Czechoslovakia.

I saw you in the Pantages lobby @ the Neko Case show. Then when I was seated, I noticed that you & Rob were in the same row as me. Must've been the official gov't row :) (I'm w/ TPU)

I finally read "The King of Methlehem" yesterday. It was the first book of yours I have read, having heard of you on myspace. It was great! I really loved how you wrote of Tacoma, how you mixed in so many of the neighborhood landmarks. I read the entire novel in one afternoon. I look forward to reading your other books soon.

I thought the friend request was a joke...a cruel one. I am one of those huge fans (aspiring novelist)who has been inspired by your clean, brilliant writing...and intimidated. I recommend you to everyone.
