Influences
I have Many influences. Musically i have a Reggae influence due to my parents, which is a natural thing, past down throuth the Gene. Growing up and being blessed with sisters, and being born a singer i embraced everything in the name of good music.
From Pop to Rock, Clasical to Hip Hop, there are great songs in every corner of the earth. Music is the Manifestation of Rythm and rythm is something we just cant do without.
From a vocal point of you: Marvin Gaye, The Jacksons, Stevie Wonder, Al Green, Ray Charles, Em,otions, Jean Carne, Ottis Redding, Dennis Brown, Sugar Minot, Hughmundel, and you got the great Garnet Silk who was the greatest artist in Jamaica, uintil he died very early in his life on earth. God bless you, wherever you are dwelling, as you are an amazingly Beautifull soul.
But now we have Richie Spice, Morgan Heritage and Family, Anthony Hamilton, Jaheim and so much more that they just wont fit on the page.
Musically and Poetically, i have to look towards the world of Hip Hop. This music drives me with the help of great artists from Big Daddy Kane to DMX, Nas, Wu Tang, ICE CUBE is the rapper i have the most respect for. You genius! Bone Thugs with the style and Grace to Sticky Fingers with the Grime in your face. Theres so much music to be loved. So i'll continue to embrace.
