HEDGEHOGS AND HONEYBEADS - MARTHA MOOPETTE * ROSALIND NOCTOR
Here it is. Influences. Life. Chapters. Poetry. People.
"Hedgehogs & Honeybeads" crosses choreography, design and innovative sound / image editing to produce an expressionist take on the development of a single human identity. Born screaming, a protagonist walks through a series of rooms, spaces, and circumstances: a Japanese tea ceremony; a room full of mechanical, faceless people; a cupboard full of hats; culminating in an exit into a glade of trees and possibilities. Directed by Martha Moopette and choreographed by Rosalind Noctor, the film is a Surrealist expedition into how we become who we are.
