Baobab Family – Musik für Waisenkinder in Kenia
Mit einer Benefiz- CD macht die Baobab Family auf ihr Haus für Waisenkinder in Mikindani und Homa Bay/ Kenia aufmerksam. Auch ich habe einen Song zu dem Sampler beigetragen - Ihr kennt ihn vielleicht schon von meiner Myspace Seite - "I know you" heißt er... Außerdem gibs nen nicen Allstar Track „Respect“ mit 17 Artists aus Deutschland, Frankreich und Kenia auf der CD. In dieser Reihenfolge mitgemacht haben: Mellow Mark, Tom Lugo (Jamaram), Jahcoustix (sings Chorus), Uwe Banton, SebastianSturm, Sara Lugo, Nattyflo, Maxim, Johnny Strange (Culcha Candela), Sous & Hakim (Dub Incorporation), Ganjaman, Mr.Reedoo (Culcha Candela), Ganja Deluxe, Pyro, Carlo & Pablo (Irie Révoltés) and Martin Zobel. Alright, so I..m getting it started piece by piece...
I..m from a tiny village near Munich, Germany and still pretty new here on myspace.
I started playing guitar right after finishing school back in 2000.
Actually, I..m lefthanded, the only thing I do righthanded, is playing guitar, which, basically is just the result of not having a lefthand-guitar around :-)
I found an old, broken guitar at my sister..s, sort of fixed it and started to
play the hookline of Bob Marley..s "no woman no cry" on the upper E-string...
Well, I guess that..s in short how it all began and with it I already mentioned my musical-inspiration from the beginnin...
I guess it was about half a year later when I wrote my first song...
during this time I travelled a lot around the world, my little guitar always by my side and so I imrpoved my skills while gathering more inspiration from
different countries, people and music.
Back in Germany I had the chance to play my first concert in summer 2003.
With the release of my first Solo-Album in spring 2004 I played about...
