About martysongs (and stuff)

i am making 23 new songs up...sort of... i'm not sure how long it will take. it will be called "peanut butter and jellery"

each new song(s) will initially be on my myspace here and the completed and archived work will be up on my old songaday blog at martystuff.blogspot.com ... at the end, i think i'll call it an 'album', and give it artwork and everything. initially i thought i would reserve the right to re-sequence the tracks, but i take that back. it'll be more interesting to let the album sequence itself.

i can make no guarantees about the quality of these songs, both conceptually and in listening-wise...we'll find out together...

i am in a band called uncle monsterface , which takes up most of my musictime. but sometimes i make songs by myself, too. a bunch of the songs i made are from when i made a a songaday for 30 days 3 times (equals 90 songs) in 2004-2005. the astute observer could dig around on there and find the superold original versions of several monsterface songs! but then also i just make songs that aren't one-a-day sometimes, and i don't really know what to do with them if they don't become uncle monsterface songs, so you win, myspace!

i also draw and make a lot of art-stuff, and some of that is here, too. i make a living by selling small portraits of sock puppets that i make. you can see them all at martystuff.com, and you can even become all of their myspace friends. yay.please let me know what you think of stuff, i love to hear from folks.

and martysongs is available to play shows and i am available for commisions of all kinds: drawings, graphic design, even actual sock puppet portraits of friends.

Danii Dinosaur	May 29 2007 6:50 PM aw man, my bf4eaeaeaeaeaeae Diego and I were trying to get our friend James to take us to the show tonight...but James was all "no way man I don't want to drive" and then we didn't want to take the bus because NJ transit sucks when it comes to taking the bus at night, and you might end up stuck there for like a gajillion years. So we were pretty bummed. Isaac called after the show though, and he said you ROCKED! and I've got the good to go on fridays show so I'm pumped about that! This is gonna rock! Apr 14 2007 10:29 AM so, i woke up this morning and couldn't find my shoes from the night before. i went outside and there was a RIVER in the street. i went to my motor carriage and someone asked me how my Firday the thirteenth was. I said it was fine but I had no idea who i was talking to and I was still standing in a river. Then I realized it was Kara. She asked me to go to China with her to visit China!Dan in a year. I said I would. I asked where Big Tuna was because she was parked right outside his home. she said she didn't know. then Big Tuna came outside. I said HI and he told me i had left my broken sandals there. I was excited, to say the least. i had to get into my motor carriage from the passenger side because the river turned a strange colour and it smelled vaguely of pee. i wasn't down, MartySongs. I wasn't down with pee!river. so I drove to my parents' house where my mom made me eggs. I'm going to ze carnival in a half hour. I hope I don't yak my eggs!
