.. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. ....About Masala / English.... In Indian cooking, “MASALA” is a mixture of spices. So is the music that the band offers. After a few changes in the line up, the trio settled down in 2005. They played in many places and made a demo, then felt the need to record an album truly reflecting their identity. The first opus THE DRIFTER was released in july 2007. Their music is a mixture of styles and subtle rhythms serving a patchwork of 10 varied songs. The atypical voice is sometimes sophisticated and thrilling, sometimes enraged and blood-curdling. Still, whether on a soprano, tenor or bass tone, it always plays on a par with the guitar that goes from warlike riffs to quieter melodies, all loaded with emotion. As for the lyrics, they tell us about humanity's betrayal "Planet Earth" or the doubts and introspection of a man distraught by his own image "The Drifter" MASALA is: Franck Da Silva : lead singer and bass. He has a haunting and pounding approach to his instrument, especially with the use of his bow. Mathys Dubois, outstandingly technical and efficient behind the drums, he is endorsed by TAMA. Fred Mariolle : guitar and second voice. He features in GUITAR PART's pedagogical DVD for his part in "Planet Earth" January 2008 !.. .. ..

In Indian cooking, “MASALA” is a mixture of spices. So is the music that the band offers. After a few changes in the line up, the trio settled down in 2005.
