Maserati's reputation varies depending on who you ask: They are either one of dance music's most viscerally addictive live performers, or underground rock's most ingenious hybrid of U2's guitar heroics, Pink Floyd's arena-ready psych rock, and Daft Punk's head-slamming, club-burning rhythms.

respect to JF. I saw you guys in portland and was super inspired by his drumming. I happened to be in billyburg on that tragic night and was fucking sad when i heard the news. i hope the rest of the band is hanging in there. be well.
i'm bad at this sort of thing... i just wanted to tell you guys how genuinely sorry i am for your loss. he was such an amazing musician and although our only actual interaction was his kind responses to my fangirl gushing... i believed that his words were genuine...i think that everyone who had the privilege to actually know him should feel extraordinarily blessed. i feel blessed for having heard your music and see you all perform it with such honesty and intensity. thank you so much for your music. thank you so very much. all of you.
Like the hundreds of comments below, wanted to post the great sadness of the loss of Mr. Fuchs. My sympathy goes out to all of his family and friends and those, like I, who adored what he was as simply a musician.
I dont know what to say other than love is the tie that binds us all and there was ALOT of love out there for Gerry. As a catalyst drummer and a master of the stache, words cant possibly say what he means to the Maserati family, and more importantly to his direct family.
My honest and sincere condolences go out to his family and the Maserati family, he will be GREATLY missed. Let us not be lost in what has come to pass but instead look at what has been forever left behind.
He lives in the music.. and through the music, he forever lives in us
I was debating whether or not to go to the mono/maserati show at the GAMH in San Fran in October. I'm so glad I did. You guys have no idea how inspirational your music is. He is and will always be a stalwart in progressive music creation. Thank you for that amazing show experience. may your music live on forever. Play on.
all my condolences go out to you and to Jerry's family. I saw him live once, and it was one of the most breathtaking drumming performances I've ever seen . I will remember it until my very last day... I "only" lost one of my most beloved musicians, you lost more - a true friend. All the best for you in the next few horible weeks...
I was just having a look at your website to check tour dates and stuff.
About three years ago you played a show in Munich, together with Ostinato. I talked to Jerry for a few minutes...never seen such a powerful drumming...
it's so sad to hear that he's gone...
Please, guys....keep on playing!! Not only because he would have wanted it that way...
