Massecration; derived from the term, Massacre. Symbolises a massacre in action, an ongoing devastation of two physical or mental forces colliding in opposition towards a definitive outcome born of chaos.
MASSECRATION's inception began during March of 2006 in Singapore, formulating in the disbandment of Manamoth which consisted of the original 3 members- Hazwan, Dizzy and Agnes. Mali of Crochety and Joel were then roped in as permanent fixtures of the band.
The primary conceptual standpoints of the band's originals come from everyday issues that plague the existent world. The band's music is layered with many influences from all forms and genres of music but in which we have found our own style and sound. The goal of the band's creations is to create music which extends beyond the stereotypical aspects of Death Metal but rather to paint forth, our portraits of destruction and perceptions of the world today as we know it to be. Also delving in the battles within one's self, the battle for one's sole independence and non-reliance on imaginary entities, the fight for thought and self liberation.
MASSECRATION is dead set to dignify horror in absolution; locked, loaded and ready to fire in any or every fucking direction.
