Masseratti 2lts is a project born in 2002. Its conformed by the twin brothers Fernando and Armando Gomez. Since then, they have produced one album per year , beeing one of the most productive and proactive venezuelan electronic band. As Venezuelan as the “arepa” and as universal as the Internet, Masseratti 2lts is a clear demonstration of Venezuelan talent with global transcendence. Their repertoire, full of technology and electronics, resources that characterize the musical tendencies in this twenty first century, keeps its essence, achieving a perfect balance between the global and the local reality. Armando Gómez lives in Caracas while Fernando Gómez lives in Ibiza. Together they create musical work which can be qualified as virtualism, where local urban icons and global icons complement the universal language. Cocoa, Rum and Maseratti 2lts……all Venezuelan products for exportation.
Almost Tomorrow is the third full length collaboration album from Section 27 Netlabel founders Tam Ferrans and Andrew Paterson, under their Nonima & theAudiologist guise. This time around the sound is more melodic, and has a definite feeling of a complete and more mature sound than heard on the previous LP's "Dystopian Battle Hymns" and "Ceremony After Amputation". If you are familiar with their individual projects you may even be in for a slight surprise, as the tracks are not as beat driven like before, but are more atmospheric and sound, well... "bigger". In its 75 minutes, Almost Tomorrow takes you on a trip from the digital rain-soaked cavernous scraping in "Thoughtograph", the ethereal beat jittering of "The Colour of Rain", intercepted transmissions from unknown places in "Com-Intercept", "Ganzfeld"s huge yet strangely insect-like beats until everything you knew comes crashing around you in "Almost Tomorrow". Burning pianos, glitched out soundscapes and intricately programmed beatplay, this may well be their best work to date. Consider it the soundtrack to a rainy overcast day, but with just that glimmer of sunshine peeking from the clouds. "Almost Tomorrow" wears its heart on its sleeve.

Señores Masseratticos, este fin de semana estuve con el Negro Diego, me comentó que estuvo grabándoles las percusiones y que viene pronto trabajo nuevo a chorros de 3lts. Mis felicitaciones por el nuevo CD, triple? que saldrá pronto.
Hola gente de Masserati... Espero que esten bien al igual que yo. Les comento que tengo un tema nuevo en mi myspace y creo que suena genial. Es un poco más movido y mas "electronico". Espero que les agrade. Un abrazo a todas las personas que tengo como amigos :)
