in the Masterguru world. The world where peace is nothing more than few
minutes of grind, death, and hip-hop. The world of high spirit
Masterguru was formed in the summer of 2004
after the endless search for simple grind tunes from artists all over the
world. Thats why its music cannot be compared to any modern style of metal.
Masterguru is not playing Mozart sonatas; it is precisely a protest of the
opposite genre and search for a new paradigm. From groovy musical guitar riffs
and mechanical, clock-like drumming to bumpy bass lines and aggressive vocals
with creative samples Masterguru will keep your head moving from the start.
The bands debut self-titled demo was
reviewed in San Diego Reader in January of 2006. Masterguru has played
numerous shows in San Diego County since the summer of 2005, sharing the stage with the bands like Cattle Decapitation, Downspell, Pathology, VIII Fraud, Gutrot, Kleptik, Slewfoot, Difficult Henry, Ankla, Daemos, Animal Corpse, Knifemill Disintegrator, Exit The King, Dead Serial Killers, Shadowlit, and others.
