Peace & Blessing and mad love to all. The Masters of Sound are a group of Djs now based in CT and growing. We have been in the Hip Hop & Funk sceene for 25 years + and we must say we were in the birthing room when hip hop was born in the Boogie Down, we helped bring it to CT with the help of the pioneers Kool Herc, Bambaataa and the Mighty Zulu Nation, Grand Master Flash, Jazzy Jay, Starski, Red Alert, Busy Bee, Kurtis Blow, Cold Crush Brothers, Melle Mel and the Furious 5, Grand Mixer DST and the Infinity 4, Kool Moe Dee, Treacherous Three, Spoonie Gee, Crash Crew, Fearless 4, Sugar Hill Gang, GMC, Jazzy Joyce, MC Lyte, Sweet Tee, Collins Brothers, Playboy Snapper, T-ski Valley, Charlie Chase, Tony Tone, Cool Dj AJ, Grand Wizard Theodore, Spindarella, Salt & Pepper,Queen Latifa, Big Daddy Kane, KRS 1, Sha Rock, The Funky 4 and many more who have become personal friends. We give much respect to all the Hip Hop pioneers who help pave the way for a culture of music and a new way of living. We are currently playing all over the CT area and working our way I95 sound back to the place where it all began New York City. We are getting back in touch with the old school artist and planning a revival because we along with many others refuse to let Hip Hop die.
